If someone completely strange to suddenly approached you and asked for a hug? Yould you give it to them? What if the person was suffering a disability such as mentally challenged...
Today in line for Coffee, a seemingly young-adult man that fit this description walked up and down the row of anxious pedestrians, attempting for a hug. He didn't even get one... in fact everyone seemed to adopt the same phrase "Hi, No Hugs... Sorry..." He would look up and see the sometimes disgusted, sometimes annoyed, & once even a frightened reaction from the pedestrians, it was like utter despair could be viewed in the depth of his eyes. He then finally cowered and ran aside.
It actually broke my heart when I didn't hug him either...
