Why do some women wear the same perfume everyday...?

I often get these Eureka! moments while driving. The other day, at a red light, I was pondering perfumes and how I have accumulated a truly varietal collection over the years. I believe this all donned on me as I realized that my choice of the day, Alchimie by Rochas, was slightly more sophisticated and reminiscent of the scent of a 'highly respected mature women', rather than my normal 'creative spunky adolescent' inherent of my other favorite, Escada Magnetism. It led me to investigate my emotional and mental thought process that is unconsciously enacted every morning when I do, or don't apply perfume, and also the real underlying psychological reasons WHY!?
