Go Tavi, Go!
If you haven't heard of the 14 yer old fashion blogger Tavi Gevinson yet, then you should probably start keeping up now! According to Jezebel, a fashion & etc. blog for women, Tavi "writes songs about Alber Elbaz, strikes fear into the hearts of editors like Anne Slowey. And all week, she'll be writing for us." Some members of the fashion underground online, aka New York Magazine's "The Cut" fashion blog, can't help but cast distaste for the idea that a 14 year old is sitting front row at every fashion week, but that she might even be.. drumroll please, facing a PEAK at her fashion career at the prime age of 14. Listen, I have to say that her recent hand at styling has proven to be quite successful, and at an age where passion is so pure I can't help but relate her to myself at that adolescent age. If it had been half as an accelerated age in technology, or if I had even had a cell phone let alone a laptop and iPad to blog on the run, I just may have been as entrepreneurial as these young fabulous chica. Now, self admittedly, nearly a decade her minor, I am trying to catch up. Yet still, I say let's Go Tavi, Go!
